My brain just had like a fart of information for an idea for an anime, which I know will never happen, but the idea is just too good to pass up. Just gauging reactions now to see what the general acceptance/rejection is to the idea, which follows as such.
Anime story where a young man, let's say....maybe just out of schooling in Japan, so around 20-22, is the technician to 5 individual female AI computers, who are advertised as music idols and celebrities, like if Hatsune Miku had the same level of obsessive popularity that Duel Monsters has in the Yugioh verse, i.e., whole academies devoted to teaching them how to play the game better. The man works on the computers to make sure that they are in functioning order, and frequently chats and hangs out with them, as he is too much of a shyguy to actually ask real women out. The 5 AI's are all super popular in their own way, but the man feels no discomfort with them because he doesn't consider them "real" since they're just computer programs. The man would be your typical cute, but weak guy, like Kenichi from Worlds Strongest Disciple/
The 5 females, at their basic appearance levels would incorporate as such. A Tsundere (by that I mean muscular, athletic, etc), a bookworm (the kind that are nerdy looking, but beautiful without glasses), the motherly type, the loli, and the shopaholic (maybe also a ganguro? points to those that get what that means)
Contest would basically be to draw a short comic story, 3 pages at max, but not required, or a picture, of some type of situation involving them all, and prizes would be like subscriptions to DA, like 1 year, 2 3 months, and 2 1 months.
However, for now, just sensing what the general idea would be, and maybe...if this idea gets popular enough, a secondary contest AFTERWARDS to see which of the 5 girls, or the guy >3>, becomes the spokesperson for the group?
